Dahlgren Trail Half Marathon

The 16-mile Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail follows the old Dahlgren Branch rail line route, stretching across King George County just south of the Potomac River in Virginia’s Northern Neck. The trail is open for walking, running, cycling, and other recreational non-motorized uses while preserving 240 acres of wildlife and natural beauty.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail.  This is a scenic out-and-back course on a flat, smooth old railroad bed.  Cash prizes, great competition, good food, and awesome swag all make this a memorable event.  And because we understand it can be a bit chilly in February 😉 we will be starting the race at 9:00 am to let it warm up and let you get a little more sleep.  The time limit for the race is 3.5 hours – around 16 minute/mile pace.

This race is open to ages 14 +, Cost is $75.00 if you register before January 11th, becomes $80.00 after the 11th.
